Riva Beach Resort

The hotel was even nicer than the pictures. The beach was beautiful and there were not many people so I was able to relax even by myself. I was worried because there were no reviews from Japanese people, but this hotel is truly flawless. However, the taxi fare from the airport is 2000rp expensive💦 But I definitely recommend it😘

The main disadvantage is that this hotel celebrates weddings and all the staff’s attention is paid to weddings. The scenery is constantly being built, several dozen workers and dirty loaders walk around the territory all day long. Sun loungers from the main pool are removed as they interfere with the movers. The buffet dinner we had paid for was constantly canceled due to weddings and we were offered to choose from the menu in a cafe on the street. On the day of check-in, we and, as it turned out, other people are given a dirty room with a terrible view, citing the fact that there are no rooms and tomorrow they will change them to the room we paid for. As a result, we were forced to lose half a day waiting to be moved from room to room. The entire staff is unfriendly, unhelpful and doesn't even say hello. The rooms are very dirty, even in visible places, the linen has yellow stains. The renovations were done everywhere a long time ago, although the website states that there was a renovation in 2022, but this is not true. The food is all spicy, designed for Indians, tasteless, there is a large choice, but there is nothing to eat. Other hotels also have Indian food, but at least it's tasty. Claimed free yoga classes and gym visits turned out to be paid. There are about 10 sun loungers at the pools for a huge hotel. There is a river flowing nearby, which periodically smells like ****, so they also water the hotel area with water from this river. After leaving this hotel, we were happy to discover that Indian food can be delicious, the employees are friendly, the hotel and grounds are clean, and the bed linen is white. The only plus of this hotel is its location.
